Here is a list of events that happen every year at Spokane Christian Academy. Be sure to check the calendar for exact times and dates.

Back to School Night

Held within the 1st month of school, this is a family-friendly evening. Come get a glimpse of what your student’s day holds. Classrooms are open for visit and critical parent information is shared.

Grandparent’s Breakfast

Come share breakfast with your grandchildren! Our students share musically and there is a special video presentation.

Veteran’s Day Assembly

SCA believes that it is part of our responsibility to teach our children of the importance and value of those who have served our country. Each year we honor our Veterans with a very special assembly.

Christmas Play

All of our students participate in a 30-minute musical that celebrates the true meaning of Christmas.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Held twice a year, these conference allow individual meeting time for parents and teachers.

Spelling Bee

Each of our classes teach our students how to participate in a traditional spelling bee. Once we find a winner from each grade level, these winners go on to participate in an ACSI district spelling bee.

Science Fair

Held each spring, all classes conduct science experiments and display their process and findings. Younger classes work together, while the upper grade students each submit their own work for judging.

Fair Day

Occurring at the beginning of the school year, SCA enjoys a day out at the Spokane County Fair & Expo.

Field Day & School Barbeque

An end of the year tradition, lunch is grilled on-site. Following our barbeque is a field day with a plethora of water activies, sports, and carnival type games.
